I get to drive some interesting boats, but this one is a little gem. OK, it's ali, and 6.2 metres, but wow - what attitude. The boat is imported from Sweden and with it's 150 O/B it tops out at around 40 knots.

Seriously, good looking work boat that look like you can have a laugh on. Nice.

As it happens it's not marketed just as a work boat in Sweden. I rather liked it's looks - but then I do drive a Jeep Cherokee /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Beautiful thing Solitaire. I love tinnies - had great fun with a 23 footer with massive Yamaha in NZ over the winter

That one looks a seriously top job. Long welds too. A lot of the mass-produced ones in NZ have hit-and-miss welded seams and grey sealer to fill in the gaps.

I'd change the windscreen for something more elegant though, without mullions in the corners. And the reinforcing discs at the seat bases should be made from tapping grade aluminium and welded under the chequer plate floor - they look awful on top

What's the bit of tubing with two welded right angles, on the transom, port side of engine clamp bracket? Looks like it folds down. Some kind of boarding step?

Agree about windscreen, but not about seat bases. The beauty of functionality over design is that things are easily accessed and replaceable. Putting the seat bases under the floor means a huge job if ever work needed
