MY sincere thanks to the Forum member ( Anne LLoyd) who very kindly sent me a nut and valve lever from an old seacock to replace one missing on my French built beneteau boat and which was of an odd size ( I think 9mm metric) that apparently does not exist in Disneyland Is there no limit to what our previous owner would not take off? I think he was trying to porove to the local (and very anal ticket issuers) potty police that the holding tank could not be 'accidentally dumped' at sea, because it was kept shut with the control handle removed to a safe place I just now received the nut and lever from one swapped out in the UK which appear to be the perfect fit and now I can have an operable valve again without waiting to be able to replace the entire seacock at our next liftout time. USA valves have septic thread szes and septic built Bennies have different valves from the Froggy buiilt ones like ours is.

This is the very good side of these Forums when we all try to help each other out rather than just snipe and try to score points.:encouragement::encouragement:

And to make it even nicer still, the nut and lever arrived and ar exactly what I needed and Anne refused my offer to repay her the mailing cost, What really nice people there are on the fora when not arguing over guns and /or keels.:encouragement:
