I suspect we will see another catalogue of disasterous decisions and futile drivel spewing forth in true Labour fashion.

He seems to have failed in most respects, including his involvement with the messy confusion over the National Lottery licence, the financial problem of the Royal Opera House, the failed plans for a new national stadium at Wembley and the troubled saga of the Millennium Dome, while he was 'Culture secretary' under Bliar.


I notice he's HIV positive, so it's not all bad news then.

Dont get too excited just yet. He is the new Chairman and not the replacement for Barbara Young who was the Chief Exec. She has been temporarily replaced pending the appointment of a new Chief Exec who is being sought.
