Surprised that so many boats are still on moorings.

Upnor SC have no storage ashore and the boats you can see belong to that club.

MYC moorings rarely have anything left off afloat in the winter months, suspect those in view might want to use their boat all year round.
 
We tend to go ashore only every two or three years. Don't want to have to lose half a year boating and usually get some nice days like today. Also feel that in the windy weather probably safer on our relatively sheltered mooring, tethered each end; and less stress on hull.
