Having just got back from a week in Port Leucate (and the weather was excellent) I have had chance to reflect on the sale of Coney Island. The regrets I had are fast dissipating. The weather back here is just awful. LPG is being discontinued at Pwllheli. There were a number of faults (nothing serious) that sprang up on the passage from North Wales to Devon - so all in all, a good decision to sell.

Oddly, I hadnt really got around to thinking about a boat in the Med, but now I have investigated the possibility, it looks more and more likely.

Trouble is, it looks more and more likely that I might just hop over to the dark side and start sailing...Oo-err missus!

Step inside sir and have a look at our lovely saily boats.
Lots of different winds in the straits for you to play with

Don't forget Dave.
There are 3 types of wind, according to Raggies.

1 Not enough
2 Too much
And 3
From the wrong direction!

Plus, ok you have just returned from 'Port Lookout ,for Windsufers'!
Where the wind may blow a bit but Cripes it taint got horizontal cold rain accompianing it, like it is here at the Mo!

Yep - Port Lookout is windy (thankfully, or it would be too hot in summer) and the predominant wind is Offshore, so all the blow and go, and little waves. Also, we were thinking that if we had a boat in the harbour, we could rent the apartment out in the summer for extra income, and go sailing / live aboard. Then, when not rented out, we stay in it. Best of both worlds. Two weeks summer rental pays the marina fees, the rest is pocket money, PL is not expensive!

Mind you, I would like a Skagen 50...
