It is forum members eyes only but usual forum rules about abuse and so on still apply.

I'll work into this evening to set up RSS links for key forums and I'll start transferring over the obvious NB posts of the past few days.

I'm not going to get too silly about the odd bit of thread drift on boating related threads but please adhere to the new rules about other stuff.

Not too sure I like this idea. I kinda like the odd NB post in amongst the boaty ones, makes it a bit more interesting in my opinion.

If your right my friend then this may be an interesting thread developing ie. lots of support for a "keep our forum interesting" action force. If your wrong however then we will probably get slated and or banished forever /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just had a browse on the "lounge" forum and I was right. What a crap idea, and anyway there are boaty related posts on there. Now thats just not on, if you can't put nb posts on here then you should not be able to put boat posts on there without getting a jolly good telling off.

well I've wandered about between the two forums and have decided that the lounge wasn't really needed.

what is the protocol should someone start a boaty thread which becomes non boaty or other way round or even worse a thread which constantly switches between boaty and non boaty? For example a problem with a leaking shed roof (non boaty) but it houses most of my boating accessories and damaging my suede boat upholstery and so how do I get that clean again (boaty) and I ask how do I stop the leak on a split felt flat roof ( non boaty) as the leak is also causing my boat electrical boating equipment to get wet, how would I dry this equipment to use again safely? (boaty). I dont actually have this problem by the way I used elephant tape its the job done- my motto being if a job needs doing do it quick so you can go do something else

d) you were bored and wanted to liven things up a bit.

I don't let much get under my skin on here but when we get into fantasy publishing land it gets close.

For starters suit tailors must be on a loser here...it's all open neck shirt stuff.

Second the decision was mine...depending upon your definition of suits I might be classified as one anyway but as far as I am aware anyone flying at loftier altitudes here is not even aware of the change, let alone was consulted.

Easily move between the two - yes, simple bookmark the two indexes...
