I bought this book at a boat jumble. It is the true story of the WW1 German cruiser Emden and the amazing escape of part of her crew. I knew the story from reading about it in a book of sea stories my father had, but this book by Dan van der Vat fills in all the details. Highly recommended if you can find a copy. There are some used copies on Amazon.
