The Lamb Inn - Wittering/Chichester

Went there a couple of weeks ago and had the best Haddock and Chips ever.

Thought it was a fluke so went back last Sunday and had the same again - it was absolutely excellent.

Smiling bar staff were taking orders 20 minutes after end of food service.

The Sunday roasts that were being served looked superb.

Only problem is that it is too far from the Marina to walk.

A great pub - I have spent many a happy hour in there. Ballards and Bunces ales I seem to remember.

Oh dear!

How things can change in a few weeks

Went back on Sunday last expecting the wonderfull fish and chips and it has changed hands. Fish and chips was OK but not the stunning meal that it was under the previous owners.

The car park was full of youths playing cricket amongst the cars - it will be a while before we return

What a shame
