For those that come to Lymington and go to The Haven ,the restaurant at the Yachthaven, there's a few things to note:
1. The Haven is closed until March/April for redevelopment.
2. The owner, Rob, has opened up a new place in Lymington whilst the place is out of action. It's called as the title and for those that know Lymington it is the old Tollhouse (yes, the place that was torched by the previuos encumbents). If there's sufficient interest it may continue operating after the Haven re-opens, there's talk of deal with Rob and Chris Evans.
3. Downside is that it is a fair trot from the water, about a couple of miles I reckon.
We went there last Sunday and jolly good it is too, similar fare to the Haven but at less eye watering prices. It's been open a couple of weeks and already you'll need to book for Sunday lunch
