..... giveth & taketh away! At least on our present cruise

1. Suspicious clonk when hitting some thing in the water - near the best maintenance grids on the E. Coast
2. The Morse control failed in sight of the engineers who had what seemed like the last brand new (but 35 years old) Morse control around
3. Having failed to change our system over to the cheaper Calor gas from the expensive Camping Gaz, the Calor is in very short supply
4. This morning, investigating why the battery selector was dodgy, it snapped off in my hand - within a pleasant walk of the biggest chandlery on the E. Coast!

He's a trickster that PBO god! What will he tease us with next?

Although the PBO God has been smiling today; the walk was pleasant, the weather fine, the chandler had the exact, drop in replacement & the farm shop had coffee, ice-cream & goodies galore!

To balance things up, something important on either the boat or me will probably stop working tomorrow!

the Calor is in very short supply
It looked like than when I tried to get a bottle, but Calor got me one within 24 hours for cheaper than any of the marinas or garages I'd failed to get one from. Now you mention it, Premier Marina still hasn't called me about the gas and that was in October!
