have just recieved a call from the engineer who was going to repair the outdrive, No can do !!! can't seem to source any spares for the drive as now showing as obsolete (volvo250) Ah well ,what did i really expect given the way my lucks running!! so as things stand at the moment the boat is pretty well shagged!!

still it's my 20th wedding aniversary today soI am going to wine and dine the wife and forget the boat for 24hrs

There's a couple of volvo drives for sale on B&O. The other place I would try is <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.coastalrides.co.uk>http://www.coastalrides.co.uk</A>
They're not hard to swap over. I take mine off to check uj's etc every year. Spares are available for them. Is the engineer only going to Volvo dealers? Also try Volspec in Essex. They keep a large stock for the old petrol engines. Volvo prices there tho.
