The end of the low revs saga (I hope)

Just been down to the boat took her out for a quick test spin the revs leapt up by an extra 400 rpm
The engineer has tweaked the fuel pump and put more fuel in turning a screw half a turn to allow more fuel in to the engine
He thinks this has proved the fuel pump is faulty so the pump is comming out on monday and going to be overhauled and put back in in time for my trip to the med the following week
Its only taken him since the start of march to find this out in which time ive had all the injectors serviced etc
Am I getting good service here or is all the marine industry like this

Very unusual for a pump to be wrong. Dont think you can blame anyone. Just a process of elimination.
