Been back a week now and done 3 days work but thats not the point my boats not here.Bristol channel in front on my house is flat as a pancake sun is shinning.
So in a attempt to amuse my self buy nice new mountain bike bike across old severn bridge channell looks great in the sun still bored
Plan 2 buy a old boat so can have some fun on the water nice inside but engines are knackered anyway what can you get thats diesel and 30ft for £ 20,000 not a lot cancel plan 2
Had a brill idea on friday why not bring Sami back from med to play with so deal is done aardvark a going to collect on the 14th and I will be with my love again and be a few grand worse off but hey life is for living right
Thanks to forum member who suggested I should do that any way
And thanks to other forum member for advice on the other boat

There is a nice mk1 senior 26 (Twin Perkins 4108 / Enfield D130 drives - good for 8 knots) for sale not far from me, might be *too* small / slow for you though, but its *much* less than 20k....

And yes the channel from so flat on friday that my mate in his boat did not drop below 25 knots all the way from penarth...

Good decision !

I now have been out more then 10 weekends !

The wind and tempeture have been brill !

I would hate to travel forwrd and backwards to my boat, and what if I arrive there for hols and find that there is damage to the boat?

I tend to pop to my boat in the evening just for a quick look !

Yerstareday i mastered the art of fishing and "Sea Bass" was served for dinner !

Keep your boat here and enjoy !

Tom

Oh to have £20000 for my main boat let alone a spare!! Mine cost £6k, thats a real budget 26' and I do seem to spend a lot of time on the engines....!!
