The Dark Side....

This summer we are joining the dark side...

We plan to go to Cloggy land and explore those bits that are not accessible if you have a stick.

Suggestions on places to visit will be very welcome.

Is this South Holland ( Amsterdam > Rotterdam)
or Zeeland ( south of Rotterdam) the Delta region

Hence asking the question.
Am tempted to head in via Seeland and see where we get to,... but it would be nice to have an objective in mind.

The Friesland area has a gorgeous waterway system which is ideal for motorboats where you can enter at Lemmer or Stavoren for instance. Leeuwarden is a lovely place to stop and this area has lots of bankside moorings.
I think the best book which was written with motorboats in mind is The Inland Waterways of the Netherlands by Louise Busby and David Broad.It is still available and has about 230 pages of information.
