Very busy at LIBS on Saturday.
Did have a natter to a chap on the CaRT stand. No trace of the EA.
After after a halting conversation did manage (I think) to explain what a flybridge was and the fact that some boats do actually have them.
Mentioning the TMBA and the fact we boat on the Thames, the subject of why the Thames is not already under the remit of the EA came up.
The chap was well up to speed with the arguments regards flood control vs navigation and the conclusion was before they do take over, they need a very decent and ongoing bribe before they get lumbered with that particular Pandoras Box.
Depending on you you listen to , either things are already moving , nothing will happen for years unless a crises arises forcing action.
