The Beast of the Bristol Channel

Spotted this whiilst bringing Ishtar back from Dale last weekend. I'm not normally one for superstitions, but this really scared me:

We saw it swimming off Summerhouse point. When it spotted us, it raced towards us, and I'm sure it would have attacked and sank Ishtar, if we had not scared it off with some of Louise's cooking.

Those of you who sail alone, especially after dark, keep an eye out, cos it will get YOU!

If I see it I will probably set the dog on it! I assume Tigger was shivering down below?
Glad to see Ishtar is back home.

Tigger wasn't with us. We don't take him if we're expecting a longer passage, and we had thought of Lundy, where he isn't allowed anyway, but I showed him the picture, and he howled and went and hid in a Fuschia bush in the garden.

So he is not scared of Fuschia bushes. Must be good to have found the one thing that does not make him shiver!
I should say that I still think Tigger is great.
