Basic Boating Club

Open to all those who wish to join this Virtual Baoting Club. MoBO, Sail - no prejudice or limit on what boat you have .... as long as you can conform to :

a) Basically enjoying yourself on water / boats without need for fancy gadgetry ...... use it, but don't abuse others with it ... !
b) Like a good laugh
c) Can contribute to any forum or newsletter .....

Should there be enough interest I may be able to set up a BBS to serve it ..... as well as keeping it going on YBW ??

If interested let me know here and we'll see what can be doen to preserve boating in its truest and most enjoyable forms ....

I'm in - but what will we discuss all winter as we never bother doing much to our boats, and never bother passage planning until the day before?

We have finished planning our passage and will be using Dulux Cearial White in silk on the walls and B&Q Matt white on the ceiling. Couldn't decide on carpet so we have stripped the floorboards and done them in 6 coats of Diamond Glaze varnish, also in matt.

I may also ask the Finnish guy I met today at the club. He told me he had been paddling around the Baltic in a kajak. Suddenly my Baltic cruise plans seem so ordinary...
