Not so fast with the global warming propaganda. We've also seen an unusually large influx of siskin from Eastern Europe due to cold conditions out there and also early arrivals of pink footed geese from Greenland, also due to exceptionally cold conditions.
These particular jellyfish swarm every ten years or so and it has nothing to do global warming.

Nothing to do with global warning.
Al-Qeada is training animals as a terror weapon.
Once the jellyfish have established a bridgehead in Ireland and cut off our retreat, the siskins and pink foots will attack in a pincer movement.
When will Gordon realise the danger!

Generally accepted that the effects of manmade emissions will be an overall warming, but that there will be increased instability, more frequent occurrence of extreme events, more records (highest/lowest, wettest/driest, etc) being broken.
Because the climate is such a complex beast, a change in one parameter can cause many other changes. One favourite disasterist theory is that global warming will melt arctic ice, causing oceanic cooling, which will divert the gulf stream, pulling colder arctic air down over the UK, so that eventually we suffer cooling, rather than warming, here. Who knows.
