Had a phone call from HMC Falmouth this evening at about half 4, my Sunshine 22 is adrift and floating out of the Helford!

A fishing vessel from Helford did try to rescue her but couldn't because of it's proximity to the rocks. If anyone knows the skipper of the Annie J, I'd like to say thank you.

The only tender left on the pontoon at Helford was a punt with a 5hp on it, mine is an inflatable with a 2.3hp, which really struggles to move the yacht as it's not deep eough in the water.

Anyway, the boat is now dryed out, she has bounced off the rocks a few times but no holes in it, luckily.

Thankyou Falmouth Coastguard, the CG66 scheme obviously works and they quickly contacted me to ascertain if I was ok and to try and arrange movement of the yacht.

Pock Marks from the yacht;

Thankyou Robin,

Yeah, unfortunately, it didn't help that in my rush to get off the boat last time, I didn't tie off the tiller so was probably swinging off the mooring!

It hasn't caused too much damage, few dints in the keel, loads of scratches down the side (all above the waterline luckily) and a split rudder down the trailing edge. coming out soon for to finish the job off and sell her hopefully.
