"Soulmate".Your boat was doing something approaching 15/20 knots when you came past me this afternoon causing real grief to everyone between rochester Bridge down to the forts.you must be either pissed or just a total moron to behave in that manner.your boat was called many times by Medway radio in an attempt to get you to slow down you D... h...d.I would suggest that you learn good manners before next taking your boat out from MBM or wherever you crawled out from just because its a fast machine does not put you above ANYONE else.Had you been listening to your radio you would have heard the damage you left in your wake........

I hate those Bxxxxxxx who do this surely it must be possible to get em by the nackers and encourage respect for other people on the water.
On the Thames and Canal system there are penalties for speeding, what's the situation there.

Come on oldgit, tell us the name of the boat then we can all give him some thing to talk about if we ever visit the area, were not shy on this bb you know!.

Have you sold the 25 yet/ bought another boat , lets hear all about it if you have, must be plenty out there or are you still waiting for that real bargain, go to Denmark if you are I was looking for something on a site, could not believe the prices untill local dealer told me that they did not include the vat.

The name of the boat was Soulmate.Was aboard my boat trying to clean up ready for prospective buyer trip out in morning.Fortunately somebody shouted to warn me about incoming wash so was able to hold on.Was along side another boat at time and owner managed warn me in time . Poss boat was out of Rochester cruise club because they had some sort of mass cruise down river today and maybe he was bit late.We all like to nip about perhaps when we should not, but this guy was planing right in the middle of town with several moored boats with people in dingys along side etc.Last thing heard on radio that boat had been called to intercept him at at sheerness.
Convinced this is something to do with people able to afford trophy boat/car /wife and not learning ropes/consideration via series of old tubs and advice from more experienced owners to start boaty life.Do we need some sort of competence test before being let loose with monster boat.

Fav boat at moment is in dutch yard with van der valk. 30 ds with single 155 volvo 700 hrs with bills etc. It is a diesel boat at petrol boat price.But of course if buy got to get it home.I shall of course be present on the journey home with my maps and plotters etc.not sure if the driver of the low loader will need them.
