Many thanks to Martin (bigmart) for sending me some bits an pieces of sliding door runner for my wheel house doors. I was able to fabricate some sliders from the assorted bits he sent me. The doors now work well, the biggest problem now is to learn that a gentle push will open and close them rather than an almighty heave!!
