Carefully chosen words since sunrise is still getting later but now so is sunset. "Equation of time" and all that.

this post is a personal opinion, and you should not base your actions on it.

Absolutely - we'll get almost an extra 5 minutes light in the evenings by Christmas, which will make all the difference /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Please explain. It's been peein' down here most of the day, dark at 15:30 and, truthfully, I cannot say I've felt any benefit of the equation of time. Anyway, how do you know that it exists?

Prove it!

I had a very nice link until Kim told us off about it. I'm not bitter mind.

I thought the top of the tide was the 21st?

My dad has just bought a full spectrum light bulb for oil painting but i thought I might borrow it as November and December are turning out to be so gloomy. I hope Christmas day is sunny so a nice afternoon walk around Bosham is better than sitting in the gloom we have had recently.

This post reminds me of christmas adverts and goodies in the shops in August!
Why do people think so far ahead? You might not be here tomorrow.

Thanks Phil

That is a nice program to keep on the laptop for on board use. It also highlights the misery of higher latitude living this time of year!
