Now at PHYC.
No problems mooring at Hampton Court or Lady Lyndsies, the boat mooring section has been considerably extended at LL.
Big disappointment stopped at Chiswick Pier to break the trip.
No water,no power and had to moor against a scruffy old barge, had to move as first barge had not been told that we were arriving, but he did suggest that if we were paying in cash we could stay alongside him.
Told him we had already paid once in advance.
£55.00 per night. Avoid at all costs, St Kat's is better value ?
River very quiet generally and all locks manned so far.
Next Runnymede and the Italian Concept.

Runnymead super busy and who owns the vast Viking that came flying past causing considerable amounts of wash.

Stayed on the Broca's, managed to fill the water tanks at the tap by the slipway.
All locks manned so far.
Made very welcome in the PHYC clubhouse.

Had guests onboard all the way from Australia! Turned around at Boulters and decided to head downstream to Boveney and then back to the marina.

Glad I cleaned the boat yesterday, now that the paparazzi spotted us 😄

Now in St Kat's.
In the posh bit with all the big stuff.
A nice change from the usual locations that us poor folks get allocated.
Staff in St Kat's as usual very helpful .
Richmond Barrier.🤔
Got moaned at by lockie ? cos dropped anchor while waiting for barrier to lift at Richmond.
Large barge blocking river ,well aground , about a mile below Richmond .Managed finally to get past and only
just made it under Hammersmith by a few inches.

Ho Hum.🤔

I believe the 'large barge' that got stuck, could of been the African Queen hotel boat, as there was a video posted online somewhere showing it run aground down near Eel Pie Island

Indeed. African Queen ( large Dutch barge) got caught out on the shoal on the right just before Eel Pie. Sounds like it went aground twice if it was below Richmond !

That shoal needs a mark now. It’s getting worse and catching many out

Loads of yachties just turned up , all from the Medway.
Very few EU vessels in the dock.
Moored near a wonderful monster Nordhaven.
