London Tonight at 6pm will have a piece on the massive fish kill this week as a result of 400,000 tonnes of raw sewage being dumped from Mogden and the CSOs in the tideway. Rare fish species have been killed in their thousands and nursery grounds wiped out around the Mortlake/Barnes - Wandsworth areas.

Didn't we have a thread about this last year from someone objecting to the work needed to fix the sewer system, anything living in the tideway must be rare.

Yes,think the work was going to spoil their view for a month or two.work not due to be finished for several years

Poo?

I understand the scheme is to take the poo in a tunnel and dump it to the east of London, where no-one will notice it.....

:)

can you imagine the crowds at the Thames Barrier playing Poo Sticks?......maybe a chance to charge a fee.......50p per Poo?
