Amazing to see how much Kingston's changed. I remember the coal fired power station and I'm sure I can recollect the stench from the tannery!

Reason I think 1955/56 (would love to have confirmed) is our boat Straight Across was bought by my family in 1956 from Meakes (ie of Marlow), and she laid on the opposite bank between the bridge and the church whilst for sale, and I have a few photo's whilst she was there. Looks to me, although fleeting glimpse & out of focus she was there in this film.
