Thames Forum grows up......

I am sure that everyone here will agree with me that the Thames Forum has truly demonstrated its value in recent days.
In particular, the local reporting of precise river conditions with advice and assistance from people actually on the river has been great.

Special thanks to the EA and particularly angelaq for their welcome involvement.

Now, how do we get more peeps with boats and an interest in the river to join us?

Well said. Forumites have given a much better idea of river conditions than the media.

As to promoting the Thames forum I think word of mouth is probably the most effective method. Perhaps we can also promote it via the E.A's new forum?

p.s. had a beer with Wyn and Linda last night at the reslocated wedding (jeez, was that a task). It turns out that we met at their bash last year when you arrived by boat with, I think, about 50 kids? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
