I ended up in the Crouch by way of 'emergency stop off' and Navionics, and had no prpblem at all, in that I wasn't looking for buoys that weren't there. The GPS sync'd paired flashing is 24 carat, and you'd have to be a muppet to not notice the wind farms, and the seemed to me to be wherever you looked anyway. It also doesn't seem to matter how far you sail from the wind farms - the distance you are from them doesn't change.
