Hmmm not sure if you're in a hurry... 50 minutes from N. Greenwich Pier to Westminster, loads of stops....

yea.... but it avoids the charms and delights of the A2 through New Cross and Blackheath

From North Greenwich yes, but that’s a slog to get to if you live in Greenwich. I use the boat 3 or 4 times a week - coffee and a view or a beer and a view on the way back with seating every time.

Good that this efficient transport link is being extended but not so good that the risk of any low freeeboard boat being swamped by the high compound waves associated is also extended.
This phenominen is particularly bad in the Greenwich/Tower bridge stretch where the tourist RIB drivers lose all abandon and any use of small rowing/paddling/dinghies would be truly foolhardy - not to mention the lottery of dodging the granite piers of the South Dock lock as you surge in on a rogue wave.
