Thames Boaters - where are you?????

When Byron and I first mooted the get together at his gaff on 1st Feb, we sort of thought it would be an opportunity for Thames based boaters to get together for a natter etc. In the event, the vast majority of those coming can hardly be called Thames boaters. most coming from farther afield and with boats on the East and South coasts, Severn etc.
So where are the Thames Boaters? Are they just unsociable? A dying breed?
We know theres lots of folks here with boats on the Thames so what do we need to do to flush them out?

I will be a Thames boater from mid February/March. Being transferred from sunny Devon to the big city. Looking for moorings. Nowt at St Kats, ditto South Dock, and Lime BAsin. Might get lucky at Gallions Point... Anyone can suggest anywhere else for 44 foot rag-pot, feel free to drop me a line!
