A new pressure group - Thames Awash - has been established following the severe flooding at Ham Island, Old Windsor and Wraysbury. They appear to be gathering key ministerial support, including Philip Hammond, in their campaign to progress the extension of the Jubilee River down towards Teddington:

Lets hope Yalding and all the other less affluent places throughout the UK who also suffer from flooding are able to command the same amount of help from influential high profile supporters. ?
