I have been clearing the garage today and found some bits I would like to put in the For Sale section of the site.

1 Seafarer 700 Echo sounder complete with mounting bracket.

2 Navico DL 200 Speed Display with sun cover, JBL 200 junction box, a Transducer and Blanking Plug complete with skin fitting.

3 Nasa speed log transducer, I think?

The question is how I can test these out before Listing / selling them?

The Seafarer 700 was taken out of my H22 in full working order, and was replaced with a Nasa Target Digital Echo Sounder so I know that was working, albeit 4 years ago. I have heard you are not supposed to wired / Test them without the transducer being fitted and aboard the boat?

The Navico DL 200 I bought from a Boat jumble sold as working , and wanted it for the spare transducer as my source for the paddle wheels dried up, so I never actually tried the whole set up to see if it was working.

The Nasa Speed Transducer was also bought as a spare but I didn’t realise it was not compatible with my Navico DL200 at the time.

I suppose the only thing I can do is sell them as working and refund monies if not. Just wondered if it was possible to check them first, in an effort to save any hassle and list them correctly. Will also include Photos for clarification.

Whats the normal practice with the sale of electronics?
