if you are using Photobucket just copy the line of code labelled "IMG Code" and paste it into your post. Test it in preview until you get it to work from there. Not guaranteed 100% foolproof but if it doesn't appear in preview it wont appear in your post

A right-click on the pic will show it's url under properties and dropping the bit after the last / gives the url of the album.
I'm sure there was no sinister intent. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Many people leave their album public. Making your album private will still allow you to link individual pics here but will stop people doing the above.

Thanks again, Silkie. I don't think for a moment there was any sinister intent; I just don't like the idea of it. It must have been obvious to everyone that I am new to Photobucket.
