It seems that Tesco have jacked in taking weather advice for the Met office !

Makes you think !

Tesco is so fed up with the unreliability of forecasters that it has set up its own six-strong “supermarket weather team”

Instead of listening to the shipping forecast I will check to see if Tesco have got barbecues on special offer before I next take the boat out!

Just been to Tesco for the BBQ meat. Quite of a lot there (so they think it's going to be warm and sunny)...but why aren't they sold-out if it's going to be good? (the public is sceptical)...and some is appearing on the "any 3 for 10 quid" special offer shelves...so maybe even Tesco is having doubts and hedging their bets??

That only works when the public also listen to the Tesco forecast.

I.E. if Joe Public hears from the Met Office that its going to be horrid, but Tesco have all the barbecue meat on the shelves, that is where it will stay!
