Termlett 48

Tom,
Tremlett was a huge racing name from the 1960s. His boats, especially the smaller ones were renowned for their sea keeping.
He didn't build many large ones but of this you can be certain that provided it passes survey it will take you through the roughest weather and not spill a drop of your whiskey.

pretty sure a poster round here can certify this for the brand, even if not this particular large version..... even if you hit a large buoy in the dark at speed, when many hulls would split or leak, it just needed a bit of s rubbing and waxing, and certainly has good sea keeping

What do people think about that boat? There is one for sale in Kent, Do you know it? Boat less Tom

Tremlett is still on the go I believe ... the 42 / 46 was very narrow for it's lenght and was a bit sensitive to weight in the sides ... could be improved by lowering the fuel tanks. Deep V's and good sea keeping ... Goes very well with moderate size engines. Access to outer part of engines could be a bit challenging. Some not finished by shipyard but by private owners and quality of interior finishes may vary...

Think this one is a 46 ...with swim platform added for the length.... also look for the 42's.. There are a couple of 46's for sale around.

With 2x 220's she'll cruise at 15 - 16 and not exactly overpowered. She would have done wonderful with 300's onboard.
