Would probably make perfect sense if you were a septic.

Any septics on here care to explain please?

Hope his fishing is better than his navigation......30,000 miles from Florida to Oz.....??????????????????????????????? Did he make three round turns of every island he passed to see if it really made the boat go faster /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Suppose it could have been a Trader with a faulty Log /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Seems to be the trendy thing to do, if you are an impoverished big game fisherman and cannot afford a boat like Mr. Abranovitch - one of his boats (Big Blue - or has he sold it?) can carry a couple of 60' tenders on deck - saves this tiresome business of having to tow the wee launch, and the hassles of towing lights and such.

There was another boat like the one described on YBW at Port St Charles (here in Barbados) last winter - she tows her 30' sportsfishing boat everywhere on a long painter.
Some fisherpeople are very keen in their pursuit of the fishies....
Much easier and less hassle I reckon to just chuck a line over the back end when you are sailing along, and see what bites!

Looks like a big, thirsty sportsfisherman. Say 1 mpg, for 30k miles - not appealing, yes? And how on earth will you refuel every 200 or 300 miles?

Or maybe you could ship it: £20 grand or so?

But if your mate is going the same way in his big displacement mobo ......

Not sure what your insurers would think, mind you.
