Tender pump..

Yet again it has come to the rescue, the last time it was clearing a blocked engine cooling inlet, this time we changed all the fuel filters and could not get any fuel in the pre filter, which is above the tank, when trying to bleed the system. The answer was to pressurise the tank using the pump through the vent -pushing fuel through the system, it must be the most usefull bit of kit we have......Mel.

My girlfriend had a Fiat 126 ... we all have a cross to bear !!

She regularly used to run out of petrol, so a can of fuel - then blow into tank with lips hard on the filler ... pressurising just enough to push the fuel to the carb !

Away yer go !!!
