Tender Garage problems

Hi , any info appreciated , Has anybody had any issues regarding tender garages , mine seems to make a nasty noisy on close as if its out of alignment , it also sticks on closing requiring little tweaks of the switch to get it shut eventually and another easy noise !

Check the hinge pins are not seizing

Check the pins at the rear of the hydraulic rams it’s a two part pin with a screw through the middle if it comes undone the pin bends causing exactly what you describe it was the port one on ours !

Many thanks , I have sometimes ... ahem tried to close with the strut still in place so this sounds like a plan , thank you all so much , highly appreciated and well informed forum

Maybe check the grp hasn't cracked at all.
