We have a new old stock cockpit tent for the Trident, I dont know if it is a universal fit or a bespoke item, but it does fit extremely well. the only problem is the bag it came in did not include the male side of the fasteners to mount to the boat.
I went to a well known marine chandlers chain store yesterday, and bought a blister pack of two, just to be sure I was buying the right ones
£4.75 :disgust:
I have had a quick look online, see them cheaper from a couple of places, does anyone have any particular recommendation for suppliers?

The length issue I have which I refer to in the title is not my wife complaining, but the tent is supported by lashing it's poles to the boom. The boom is about 8 inches too short at the rear to give tension to the rear pole, so I was thinking of putting a couple of rivnuts into each side of the boom, and making a removable stainless flatbar y shaped extension yoke to give the required length. It seems the easiest way to do it unless I am once again missing the bleedin' obvious
