Enjoy it while you can. I looked at things the same way as you, until rheumatism/muscle pain got me. Now I'm wondering if I'm going to have to pay someone to install new bilge pumps!

All my 'little' projects seemed to be around £1K a few years ago. I suspect £1.5K would be near the correct figure now.
I used to record how much I spent on projects but gave up for obvious reasons !

One ofthe reasons to buy a boat was as a diversion from retired home life a small project within my skill set and doable .Finding the boat that fits that criteria and price has proved quite difficult .Therehave been some heaps but with rather expensive outcomes like possible renewal of keel bolts .Then newly refurbished leaving nothing to be done except a pencil rack.Nowwaiting for the end of the summer for the ideal do er upper ?
