Temporary Registration at Locks.

Hi everybody. First post so please be gentle with me .

I am planning a trip on the upper Thames between Lechlade and Henley for two weeks in a week or so on my small trailered boat.

I will be single handed and pottering around and doing a bit of fishing, beer tasting and generally enjoying the outdoor life.

My question is: Can you still buy temporary registration at locks?

I already have the slipway sorted.

Hi

Yes you can buy visitor licenses at locks. Occasionally there may be an issue with payment like lock keeper not having change for cash payments but if that happens the thing to do is to go to the next lock and see if they can do it. It will be okay.
