Why would 3 yachts in a marina be flying flag U (you are running in to danger)above flag Y (I am dragging my anchor) from the port side crosstrees? One was a sailing school yacht. Falmouth , Sat June 26th . I feel ignorant!

I saw an unusual flag hoist in Fowey the next day. Those boats were taking part in the RYA sailmobility scheme (sailing for the disabled) - could have been the same fleet?

UY - I am carrying out exercises, keep clear of me.

It's a good idea to fly the signal, but how many people know the meaning?

PM powerskipper, that will be a good one for her album!!!

NB. As far as I am aware that signal is informative and does not (apart from normal courtesy)give any rights to the exhibiting vessel under Col Regs.
