Teleflex engine control for BUKH DV10ME. Advice please!

Would this be a suitable replacement for my BUKH engine control?

Says it uses teleflex type 33c cables. If thats what your Bukh is set up to use, then it should be fine.

Is that read button supposed to put it in/out of gear?If so it looks a bit weedy to me.Mine has a clunky button that looks like it would much more positively engage gear.I will see if I can dig out some photo's if that will be of assistance?

Yes, the red button, when pressed, disengages the gear linkage. When released, it is spring loaded, the gear linkage is re-engaged. It works perfectly well on hundreds of thousands of boats, mine included.
