Tek-dek interior - anyone used it.

Has anyone installed Tek-dek interior strip teak/holly effect flooring? I've had a small sample sent and it looks good, also hopefully tougher than either fake laminate or real wood veneers. How easy is it to fit? http://uk.tek-dek.com/about-tek-dek/tek-dek-interior

yes, in my Feeling 286. Very pleased. They also do a sealant polish which really finishes it off. Also easy to remove and replace for any damaged bits.

Everything must be clean dry and dust free. Measure out how you wish to lay the floor pattern (a bit like laying tiles) and how you want the edges: for example, can the flooring be laid under any furniture or do you want to edge it. Have a dry run?
An epoxy glue is supplied, and you need to work in a warmish boat. The glue is applied moderately and scalloped and the strips lain to clear any bubbles. Wipe any excess with warm soapy water or thinners (not too aggressive or will damage TEK DEK). The light! application of warm air makes the strips more flexible. They can later be removed with a hot air gun if needed...
Do not walk on for 24 hrs to allow a proper cure, and finish with a wipe of the polish/sealant as per instructions that come with it...if ordered.

Straight forward (I can never work out the laying though!!) but don't rush......

They can also lay for you?

Anyway very pleased with mine and am a happy customer.......

I did mine with Isiteek, very happy with result - may be worth a comparison. It looks like Tekdek interior is thinner so may be easier to lay.
