Tek-Dek flexible decking

we had tek dek on our old rib which looked good although we sold it very shortly after it was done.

have flexiteek on the new rib which is similar product and very pleased with it. as an aside. Kevin Howe fitted it and was also impressed with his services as well. (no connection, just satisfied customer)

Victor Aspray fitted tek dek to my boat 3 years ago.
I have been very pleased with it and it looks as good as the day it was laid.
virtually no maintenance.

Concure!! Victors your man, did ours 4 years ago and still as good as new!!

Sure, if you can get him to respond. I emailed and asked him to do my tender, reply came back saying they'll get back to me, never heard any more. I've got another firm to do it and it is being delivered next week.

I think fake teak is a great idea for the tender. I can't bring myself to use it on the main boat but I gotta admit is looks pretty fab. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference from the real thing. They have done a great job in getting the texture right

Can you pm me with regard to your tender. We value all enquiiries and would like to investigate how your boat has been missed. We try very hard to give a good service and undertake professional fittings with the resources available.

I am obviously pleased to be getting some excellent unsolicited responses.

Tek dek is an excellent product and I am happy to represent it in UK.

Victor

Tek dek also has dovetails underneath. Wilks used to be the UK reps for Tek dek until they extruded their own similiar product. Flexiteek is the brand with the ribbed underneath (ie no dovetails). Consumer has the choice of these products. They are all basically good but each has different properties. It is up to the consumer to research which he likes best. Who does the fitting is equally as important as the product itself.

Can you pm me with regard to your tender. Victor

Victor I've emailed your sales@MC... email address

It's no great shakes, but I emailed sales@MC... with pdf line drawings of my tender, marked up with coloured lines showing where I wanted the tekdek, and some jpgs, so loads of info to price and spec the job. Your office replied and said you'd get back, but never did (this was August 2010). So I've got another firm to put Wilks Dek-King on it, and it's being done now and will be delivered next week. No worries; it would ony have been a £750 order so no big deal

A communication error here. Staff member left me a message to call you in early November when the boat arrived. Obviously, I should have called you with a quote earlier. Some you win............ some you lose ..........Maybe next time.
