TecSew at Haslar ?

Has anyone used TecSew (at Haslar) for spray hoods? I am thinking of getting mine replaced and these guys are local.

The boats with the best canvas work at Haslar tend to have a TecSew badge. I say this speaking as a C&J customer.

Is TecSew actually based at Haslar?

I have also used TecSew - not the cheapest but excellent work. They supplied the sprayhood for my Southerly as well as making a bespoke 'sun shade' extension plus winch covers. I would recommend them.

They are Gosport based. They have done two boats for me, very good design and quality.

They made new spray cover and side dodgers in January for us. They visited the boat several times to check the fit etc which meant they had to use there dinghy to get out to her. Cover nicely made and a great fit. Would happily recommend to a friend.

They did a repair for me a few years ago. Not the cheapest but did it to time and cost quoted...the hood is still good.

In November Tecsew made me a new sprayhood, frame and boom cover. I would highly recommend for quick, efficient, friendly and helpful service. A very satisfied customer.

As a totally satisfied customer I can fully recommend them! We decided to fit a full cockpit canopy to our catamaran and approached them for their suggestions and a quote; firstly they told us honestly that they had never made one for a cat previously and asked if we still wanted them to quote! - not only were they cheaper than two other companies but they delivered on the nail and it was perfect. We have been using it now for SIX years, it's still looking great and attracting admiration wherever we winter. Go to them and tell em Minuet sent you!

I go upstream to Hardway and Comfort Afloat - their premises are at Quay Yard but not much water there so use the Hardway S C pontoon and stroll down the road.
Have used for cushions and canvas, excellent AND inexpensive.
