Techimpex Oven

Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove the stove top of a Techimpex oven? Is it just a matter of removing the two burners, removing the screws in the 4 corners and lifting the top up (I presume the thermocouples will have enough ‘give’ in them) or is there anything else I need to know?

Yep, if you screw it up you could have a bomb on your hands!

Take it to a professional, unless you want to risk a gas leak in the future. Failing that save yourself a few quid and take the risk...Rather you than me though.

Techimpex are italian so should be able to advise you of somewhere you can get it serviced in the med.

I gave up on mine and replaced the whole thing with a Plastimo. Techimpex is not the best designed bit of kit and difficult to get spares.
