I was down at Lidl picking up some of their (slightly dubious) bargains, when I saw some very cheap teak oil and bought it.

Should I have not bothered and should instead go buy something more expensive?

Use it on your garden furniture. S'wot it's designed for.

Unless you want your garden furniture to turn black and sticky to the point where even jet washing does not touch it. throw it away and consider yourself lucky.

Be warned if it is the spray stuff. I decided to use it on a wooden garden table, I placed it on the lawn thinking I would save the paved patio from any spillages and excess spray. what a stupid idea, about 5 days later a large brown patch started to appear on the lawn except for the 4 bits where the legs of the table were. I had to own up to SWMBO as she could not understand the strange pattern.
