Teak decking

I am going to "teak" my cockpit this winter. Bravely I am going to do this myself! Firstly what is the best way to bond it the existing fibreglass seats and wooden locker lids? Secondly any tips on filling the gaps?

Sorry, I can't offer any advice on retro-fitting teak, however, I can tell you that on hot sunny days, any teak exposed to direct sunlight negate the need for a built in cockpit BBQ...it can become 'kinhot.

Sikaflex. see www.cruisermart.co.uk or other marine suppliers. there's one for sticking it, and another black one for caulking. good luck
