Sorry chaps, I asked this question late last year and can't find the damn thread, despite searching! My own fault for not tagging it as a 'favourite'.

Anyways, I'm looking for a supplier in the UK of teak deck plugs and a few people came back with a particular company specialising in wood supplies. Can't remember them - can anyone out there remind me?

Ta

Also ARC teak, Onward trading in UK, supply 6, 8, 10, 12, and 1/2" plugs in bags of 100.

Theres a fair few places in UK and abroad who do ARC teak products.

............and Axminster tools supply sets of plug cutters very cheaply and they are fine.

Hmmm, there's just one problem with TRanona's suggested KJ Howells. They want to charge me £8 delivery on an item that cost £6! That ain't right! In fact that is taking the michael.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Cant blame them, blame the mail/couriers!! But have you tried any chandlers?? in Turkey? I make my own, unless I need hundreds, like for my decks! But thats another job!

I just assumed that a chandlers would charge me more than a wood supplier. To be honest I'm being lazy, I'm using YBW as my first port of call for research /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I make my own - I have 3/8" and ½" Diameter plug cutters which I bought years ago and a drill to suit for each size. Satisfying to make, cheaper and I can make as many as I like in any wood! I believe Screwfix supply them and others of course.
