Can someone please suggest a good adhesive for re fixing some lifting teak decking on a hatch cover.

I'm thinking it will need to have a little bit of 'give' and also be totally waterproof. Ideally I'd like to screw down and plug the lifting strips but it's all getting a bit worn and thin.

I have stuck teak with uf adhesive (semforite /resintite ) but not on a boat
Have stuck two peices of teak and left in a barrel of water for 3 months still stuck ahesive seems just as good
Hopefully somebody will advise you if it's a viable marine solution for teak decking

A polyurethane adhesive such as Sikaflex or Sabadeck is the best for the job. Avoid screwing down - it is not necessary provided you can maintain a consistent pressure on the strip while the adhesive is curing. I assume the strips are completely detached. Clean the teak and the substrate thoroughly, apply the adhesive and hold down with weights such as bricks. If it is just lifting and still partly stuck your biggest problem will be cleaning the two faces, although the basic principles still hold.
